Chapter: 69
Connor's POV:
As I watch her sleep while moving a piece of her dark hair out of the way, she was sleeping more peacefully than last night. It worried me that she wouldn't talk to me about whatever was on her mind. It made me think of the night that I spent with her and had my way. She was the woman that I have been waiting for. Hopefully, I am the same with her. I don't want to lose her. My father doesn't look like he wants to touch her and if he does, he is a dead man. The more that I think about him. The more that I know that I have to end my father's life.
Benjamin hasn't been here either and I have begun to wonder where he is. He does have a father in the Templar Order like mine, but yet he has sided with the Assassins. It made me curious if he had heard anything from his father like I have from mine. I don't know and I don't care at the moment. All I care about was being with Rosemary right now. Softly, I place a kiss on her forehead. She had me worried today, but I am glad that she is okay. A smile tugged the corners of my lips and made myself relax.
It was time for bed. It has been a long day for the both of us. A soft sigh escapes from me, but I didn't get the luxury of getting what I want. A panicked voice was coming downstairs and making a racket. I made myself get up with a long sigh and made my way out of the room. I glance back at Rosemary to see that she was still sleeping. The panicked voice was getting louder, once I reached the staircase. I walk down the stairs and to my surprised Benjamin had returned.
Achilles looks like he was ruffled from being awakened so soon. I asked, "What's going on?"
Benjamin spoke quickly, "Connor. It's my grandmother."
"What happened?" I asked.
"She is injured. We were attacked at the inn." He answered with a fearful look on his expression.
My eyes widen and I vaguely remember his grandmother. It reminded me of someone that had put me on this path. As much as I would love to punch him in the face, but I won't. I nodded and asked, "Where is she now?"
"She is safe at the moment, but I am in need of help and in need of a doctor," Benjamin spoke fearfully.
"All right. I'll go get my gear." I nodded while retreating up the stairs, but while stopping and looking up to see my beloved standing there.
"What's going on?" Rosemary was awakened and was rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand.
A sigh escapes from my lips as I look over at Benjamin to see that he was looking up at her. "We'll be ready in a few seconds."
I walk up the stairs and grabbed her hand before leading her back to the bedroom. I was hoping she would stay asleep, but I can see that was impossible with Benjamin making a lot of noise. Rosemary had a look of confusion on her face, but I began to instruct her on what to do. She follows my instructions and I could see she had questions, but I promise to explain everything later. Right now, Benjamin needs some serious help from us.

Rosemary's POV:
I don't know what's going on, but it doesn't look good to me. Both of the males that I was with seem tense, and I had heard the shouting from upstairs. I was exhausted, but I wanted to come along and help. It felt useless staying in that bed while listening to what was going on. We were on horse's heading to Boston and we were going at a fast pace. It was a lot different than riding the horses normally but going fast on one. It was a whole different experience. It reminded me of the time that I had to escape from the red coats on one while working with Paul Reverie.
