NEW MESSAGE: Nancy Wheeler: "you're still coming tonight, right?"
Jonathan bit his lip as he pulled out his phone and typed a reply.
"Unfortunately. Is steve with you?"
His heart started to race as he imagined Steve in his natural environment with his slick brown hair, warm eyes and being the coolest person in the whole room.
A loud blip made Jonathan snap out his day dream.
"Yeah, hope you're still cool with it. We're out the front :)"
Jonathan sighed deeply, shoving his phone back into his pocket. He knew he shouldn't being going to Tommy's party tonight, there's nothing fun about high school parties just horny teens rubbing up against each other but he couldn't say no to Nancy. Or to Steve.
It was a Friday night, Jonathan was going to his first ever house party full of kids from his school. With a stomach full of butterflies he quickly kissed his mother on the cheek and ran outside to meet the two in Steve's very own car.
