I begin to pace back and forth as the night grew on us and I remember that I left my tardis unattended in the middle of an angel plague.
"Excuse me sir do you have any flashlights or lanterns?"
"Yes...but what for?"
"Seeing as the angels are light sensitive..they won't move when a light is on them"
"How do you know this to be true?"
"I don't know it to be true but is our only option..."
We hear screaming from outside and then silence. We all look at each other.
"Well....looks like we need to work quick.."
I say in a worried tone
Gerald goes to a drawer and brings back a bag of flashlights.
Gerald looks at me
"So what's your plan..?"
"I'm going to go out there and figure out why they have come"
"But they don't talk so how do you propose you do that"
"They speak...if your willing to listen."
The room goes quiet
"I'm coming with you"
Gerald stepped forward
"Gerald have you gone mad?!"
Nancy is beyond mad
"Could you give us a second doctor?"
"Of course"
I leave the room and shut the door behind me.
I can hear yelling.
Gerald finally opens the door.
"I'm coming with you just give me a second to get the flashlights"
I nod my head and wait by the front door.
Nancy came out of the living room gave me a nod and went upstairs. Jewls came out shortly after that and walked up to me.
"I know what they want?"
"Come again?"
"The angels...i know what they want"
"What do they want...?"
"They want to be heard.."
"How do you know what they want?"
"Because the angels speak to me"
"....what do you mean...?"
I pull out my screwdriver and scan her.
She looks at me weirdly and I back away.
"Your not a child are you?"
She growls. Gerald comes from the living room with additional flash lights and jewls dissapears. I'm going to act like nothing has happened. I grab the biggest widest flash light and so does Gerald. We walk back to back out of the house and into the dark , quiet, cold street.
