The short haired girl laid down on the warm concrete, her left foot swishing in the water tediously. Red sun glasses covering her face. Playfully she stuck her tongue out her eyes crossing. Her brown hair tickling the grey ground beneath her. She wore rose coloured bikinis, and she tapped her right hand against the side of the pool. Her eyes adverted to Sadie Sink. Skipping out of the blue house, her ginger hair flowing over her pale face. Millie couldn't take her eyes off of her. As she mindlessly held her arms out, balancing on the side of the pool. Biting the side of her cheek placing another bare foot in front of another. Millie's eyes wandered from the girl's thin legs, past her black bathers, up to her ocean eyes that were searching the slow movement of the water in the pool. And Millie's stomach tightened. Biting down on her chapped lips nine  words kept repeating in her mind.

am I allowed to look at her like that?
