"You let her what?!?" Dodie shreiked as you delivered the news. She was always panicky, but tried not to let it show too much, but she looked panicked with the news of Jess sleeping over at your place
"It'll be okay Dodes, it's just for a few days or until she gets back on her feet" you said, hand resting on her shoulder
"I trust you Y/N, I really do" she looked into your eyes sincerely and then turned away, " I just don't trust Jess" she sighed, "There's something sinister about her, I don't know what" you started to chuckle and she turned to you with a look of confusion
"I'm sorry Dodie, but Jess is not 'sinister'" you said, smiling feintly "you make it sound like she's a witch come here to destroy" you looked back at Dodie to see her grinning.
"Okay you're right" Dodie said, "That still doesn't mean I trust her" You hugged Dodie as she buried her face in you chest. "Be careful around her, okay?" You lifted Dodie's hands and moved them close to your heart
"You hear that?" You asked
"Yeah"
"That's how fast my heart beats when I'm near you Dodie. And nothing can change that now that I've found you" Dodie smiled and tilted her face upwards, giving you a peck on the lips before you left
"I love you" Dodie said as you walked back out the door. You guys were lucky to have found each other.

I woke up this morning and realized it had been almost a month and a half since I had updated this book. I told myself it was because I didn't have any ideas, but in reality I was just too lazy.
I know this chapter is really short I just didn't want to keep you guys waiting. I'll be writing all day today (or procrastinating) so you guys will have a chapter next week. If you don't, be free to rage at me
But on with the fanfic itself:
1. This song title is by One Direction. Yes usually my chapters are Dodie songs but she covered Drag Me Down so I'm using it
2. I'm not sure whether to make Jess a good person or a bad person. I have ideas for both ways, but I need you guys to make the decision cause I'm pretty indecisive.
