Percy~
Everything sounded... watery. Distant. Like it was coming through a set of walls. I heard machines and buttons clicking, and voices talking.
Then I heard her. Annabeth. I don't know why she would want to see me but she came. I felt her grab my hand, and I wanted to grab it back, but I didn't have control over my body.
Annabeth talked to someone for a minute, her voice very worried. She then slowly leaned down to me. I wanted to hug her and tell her it was okay.
But I couldn't.
I heard her voice, soft and comforting in my ear, but also ridden with pain. "I love you," I heard her whisper, as tears dropped onto my chest. She said a couple other things I couldn't make out, then I heard, "It was Athena, and she will pay,"
That's all heard before I dipped again out of of consciousness.
