~Annabeth

"I just-" I stammered.

"It's my fault," Piper butted in. "It's all my fault. Drew told me she saw Annabeth walk back from Percy's cabin, and that Percy had broken up with her. I got so mad that Percy did that, I told him I thought he was our friend..." she sobbed. "I didn't mean to do this."

"It's okay Pipes," Jason whispered, stroking her hair. "It wasn't your fault." Piper just cried harder.

A small part of me wanted to strangle Piper. She had helped in doing this to Percy.

But the majority of me knew that it wasn't her fault. She was trying to protect me. It was Drew's fault, if anybody, spreading those rumors.

"I don't blame you Piper," I said, as kindly as I could manage. I stood up and hugged her, and we both cried together. Everybody else was silent.

"Percy, you have to wake up," Piper whispered, her voice filled with charmspeak. Suddenly, I wasn't tired anymore, like I had woken up from a restful nap. "You have to," she said louder.
