can't wait to see you love you goodbye

love willie

willie wrote his last letter amongst gunfire and the screams of men he used to know. Willie wrote poems in a black book that he kept with him it was the only escape he had besides lucy. He wrote one last letter to lucy that got lost in the mail. His poems help him cope mentally and emotionally.

Willie's Poem

I hear the cries of men when I could hear the cry of my baby boy, I hold the hands of a soon dead man when I could hold the hands of my love, I throw grenades when I could throw a baseball, I wish that the gun fires would cease so I could sleep in peace. I wish the sky wasn't filled with red unless the sun has set. I wish I could be warm in my loves arms and live in peace with my baby.
