HARRYS POV:
Y/N and I were going back in for another ultrasound today and I couldnt wait to see our little boy again. As we were called back into the office I reached for her hand as I felt my heart race. It felt usual as Y/N layed back on the table and the nurse squirted the gel on her belly.
"So, hows our boy doing today, Doc?" I asked the doctor, eagerly awaiting her answer.
"Lets take a look" the doctor said as she moved the wand over Y/N's belly for a few moments.
"How come we cant hear the heartbeat?" Y/N said with worry in her voice as her grip on my hand tightened.
"Doctor Finn....is everything all right?" I asked nervously

YOUR POV
You feel your heart race as you prepare yourself for your worst fear. Even though you had been incredibly hopeful for the pregnancy, the thought of this had always stayed in the back of your mind.
"Doctor?" You ask again, not really wanting the answer you are expecting.
"Just give me a moment to get another doctor to take a look" The doctor says as she exits the room.
"Babe?" You say as you turn to Harry.
"What if--what if he's...." you say as your eyes begin to feel wet
"He wont be love, they just need to look harder" He says to you as Doctor Fisher re-enters the room with another doctor.
"Hi Mr. and Mrs. Styles, Im Dr. Jackson, why dont we take a look at whats going on, okay?" He asks as he picks up the wand and places it back over your stomach and moves it around
"Well?" You ask again
"Ah, there we go" The doctor says as you hear the farmiliar heartbeat noise once again
"What happened?" you ask as you breathe a sigh of relief and Harry wraps his arms around you
"The baby was just in a different position so we werent quite able to find his heart, I apologize for scaring you" He says as he stands up
"Thank you doctor" Harry says as he places his hand protectively over your stomach again.
"Oh my goodness" You say as you take a deeply exhale and fall into Harrys arms
"You okay love?" Harry says as he gently smooths his hand over the back of your head.
"I will be, I was just so scared"
"I know, I was too. But it is all okay now. Lets go home and work on putting the nursery some more, Okay baby?" Harry says as he hands you your coat and purse
"Yeah, that sounds good" You say back to Harry as your lips meet his.
