Black holes are a region of space time where the gravitational pull is so massive that anything that enters the black hole cannot escape. The gravitational pull is so strong that it distorts the time and space around the black hole making time go by much slower. Black holes are formed from giant stars exploding leaving behind a black hole and scientists believe that small black holes were formed around the same time that the universe began. Super massive black holes are the biggest types of black holes, these black holes are located in the heart of most large galaxies.the super massive black hole that lays at the center of the Milky Way galaxy is called Sagittarius A, It has a mass equal to about 4 million suns.
