Jennifer managed to successfully survive English without drawing much attention to herself. Dylan was wondering what the hell was going on because Jennifer was anything but quiet in her favourite class.
"Hey, are you okay? You're really quiet and you can talk for the whole of the US normally." Dylan asked with a furrowed brow once Jennifer breathed a sigh of relief as if the bell ringing was music to her ears.
"Yeah, I'm good, just... tired that's all." Jennifer slyly looked up as she shoved her books in her bag before slinging it over her shoulder.
"Oh okay." Jennifer wasn't really listening to Dylan as she followed him towards the door, too busy focusing on the fact that she could feel Alex's eyes burning right through her.
"Jennifer, can I have a word with you?" Jennifer internally screamed as Alex's soft voice said her name. The brunette scrunched up her face.
"Dude, I'll catch up with you." Jennifer patted Dylan on the shoulder before slowly turning around on her heel as Dylan left, cringing as she did so, not daring to open her eyes just yet.
"A high school senior? Really?" Alex whisper yelled as soon as the door clicked behind Dylan.
"Okay first of all, locate your chill. And secondly, I'm sorry but I had no choice but to lie about my age." Jennifer tried to calm the situation down by speaking in a softer voice than the redhead but of course Jennifer's luck is terrible.
"Why? Because you're still of an age where your parents can still ground you?" Alex sighed in frustration, leaning her head in her hands, shaking it repeatedly as she tried to grasp what was happening.
"Ouch, hit me where it hurts." Jennifer quipped sarcastically, dramatically clutching her chest.
"This isn't funny." Alex replied sternly finally lifting her head.
"It is actually funny because it seems like we'd make a great sitcom." Jennifer chuckled but cut herself off as the redhead narrowed her eyes at her.
"What?... How can you be so calm in this situation, Jennifer?" Alex asked incredulously, pressing her hand to her forehead. "Oh god this is so very, very wrong." She muttered under her breath.
"Sorry I kind of make jokes when I'm uncomfortable." Jennifer offered a smile as she shrugged but obviously Alex didn't appreciate it.
"This is really wrong, you're like seventeen and I'm twenty-three not to mention your teacher. It's just... icky." Alex mumbled quickly, Jennifer struggled to keep up.
"Woah, woah, I'm eighteen. And wait, I'm icky?" Jennifer asked with a furrowed brow, pointing to herself.
"Not you, just this whole situation. Look I think it would be best for the both of us if I just ask to get you transferred to another class." Alex looked up with apologetic eyes only to find Jennifer smirking at her. "Why are you smiling like that?"
"Just..." Jennifer began walking in the direction of the door. "... good luck with that. You'll need it." Jennifer spun around, swinging open the door before giving Alex one last smirk over her shoulder before leaving.
"What took you so long?"
"Dylan, I said I'd catch up- oh hey Tyler." Jennifer smiled at the boy as all three of them started walking down the hall. Dylan, Tyler and Jennifer had pretty much grown up together, first meeting in elementary school. They are her boys or as she once dubbed them 'lesbros' them two and Eliza are the only people that know she's gay. Dylan and Tyler both were actually crushing on Jennifer at one point and that's when she knew it was time to tell them she wasn't one for the penis.
