I saw my daughter fall.

Collapsed.

I rushed over. It reminded me of her first expedition, she broke apart from the group and nearly got herself killed.

For once in my life, I felt hot tears leaking out as I ran over to check her pulse.

I was scared of what I'd find. I reached out to her neck and felt for the pulse.

Thump

"SHE'S ALIVE!" I yelled and smiled the smallest smile.

Eren beamed and rushed over, picking her up gently, he set her in the cart tucking her in with his own cloak.

"We're done here" Erwin finally said. "Move out"

As soon as we got to the infirmary the nurses took her over to a bed and pushed us out

I paved uncomfortably.

"D-do you think she'll be okay?" Eren stuttered

Before I could answer Mikasa replied, the two were like sisters. "Of course, she's an Ackerman"

A nurse stepped and and breathed in, preparing to deliver the news, Mikasa sat on the edge of her self while still trying to comfort Eren.
