Chapter 21: Caught

Jimin's pov
"Ellysa-ssi?" We turned our heads and saw pd-nim

"What is this?" He asked

I felt Ellysa's hand slipping out of mine, it made my heart break, I don't know why

"P-Pd-nim" She stuttered and I kept staring at Pd-nim

"Explain" Pd-nim said and left the two of us

We both exchanged looks and Ellysa's eyes were watery, I hugged her tight and I could hear her sniffs, I caressed her hair and I felt my eyes getting watery too

"Jimin, I love you" She said between sniffs

"I love you too"

"Now, let's go and explain this to pd-nim, I know he'll understand, don't worry, I got this" I said as I broke the hug and intertwined my hand with hers again

"Care to explain?" He said

"We're in a relationship" I simply said and I felt Ellysa tightened her grip on my hands

"For how long?" Pd-nim asked

"It's been 11 months already" I said and pd-nim sighed

"You do know that it's forbidden to date in our agency" He said

"But why did you allowed Taehyung and Me?" Ellysa asked

"It's business, that's not true anyways, and this relationship will just be a burden to the both of you" Pd-nim said

"It will not" Ellysa spoke

"You'll get distracted from your career and I don't want that to happen" Pd-nim said

"You're being unfair" Ellysa said and looked away

"I'm sorry Jimin and Ellysa but you need to stop this or else..." He said

"Or else what?" I asked

"I'll end your contracts right away" He said and with that, Ellysa broke into tears

"No, pd-nim please don't!" Ellysa exclaimed

"I'm sorry, but it's in the rules" Pd-nim said and looked at Ellysa's face, I could see he pity her

"Pd-nim, we could keep it as a secret, no one will know" I suggested

"That's too dangerous Jimin, I need to decline that" He said

I was silent for a moment when Ellysa stood up and ran away from the office, I bowed at pd-nim before running after her

"I hope she's fine" I said as I ran trying to find a glimpse of her shadow

Ellysa's pov

Why does this hurt so much?, I don't want to end our relationship, I don't want to break up with him, I don't care if my contract is going to end but I care about him too that's why I don't want his dream to end because of me, I guess the right way to do is to end this all, I've been stupid this whole damn months, I've been selfish, I didn't think that this will happen soon, I was careless, and now, it's time to end this

"Ellysa!" I turned my head and saw Jimin running towards me

He engulfed me with a hug but I didn't hugged him back, instead I gently pushed him and stepped back as I looked down at the floor, only at the floor

"E-Ellysa, don't do this" He said

"W-we need to"

"We can fix this" He said as he stepped forward making me step back

"I don't want your career to end because of me"

"I don't care about that, I care about you" He said and stepped forward again as I stepped backwards again

"I don't want to be a burden Jimin"

"You're not" He said and grabbed my arm when I quickly yanked it away

"Stay away from me"

With those lies, My heart broke, I was paralyzed, I didn't know what to do, I looked up and saw his face wet

"After all of this, you're just giving up?" He smiled bitterly

"I said stay away from me!"

He looked up and his tears were flowing like there's no tomorrow

"Give me one reason to stay away from you" He said

I kept silent

Because I love you and I care for you

"B-Because"

"Because what?" He asked

"B-Because I"

"Tell me!" He shouted

"Because I don't love you anymore!" I shouted back

I lied

I can't believe I lied

"After all this months?!" He said and his tears were like acids slowly tearing up my heart in two

"Yes, I don't love you, I u-used you" I said and I heard him chuckle bitterly

"That's already enough" He said and turned his back

But before he left me there he turned his head again and said

"Guess what, while you were there using me, I was using you too but in a different way" He said and I looked at him only to meet his eyes

"I used you as my inspiration" He said and smiled bitterly

"I still love you and I will never stop loving you, come back and I'll fully welcome you" He said and walked away leaving me dumbfounded

I unconsciously fell down the floor

What did I do to deserve this shit anyways?

I screamed my lungs out and I was indeed broken, a vase that is completely broken and only Jimin could fix it

I'm scared of what might happen
