Chapter 27: What Friends Are For

Ellysa's pov

I looked around eyeing the stage we will set fire in, It's our rehearsals today and it's really tiring considering that I haven't slept well these past few days, I still haven't told anyone about our ceos words yet, I looked around trying to find my other groupmates but they were completely out of sight

"Where are they-" my words were cutted off when someone bumped to me, it was a man in a mask

"I'm sorry" He spoke

"It's fine" I said and was about to leave when he gripped my wrist, I turned back to look at him confused, his eyes were familiar

"What are you doing?" I asked suspiciously examining the guy infront of me, he doesn't have an ID indicating that's he's a staff here, he also doesn't have a big name tag displayed infront of him if he's an idol, this guy is a trespasser for sure

"You're not supposed to be here, who are you?" I started raising my voice at him, he remained silent but his grip was starting to get tighter making me wince

"G-Get off me"

Until he was suddenly yanked away from me, I looked at the newly approached man's back who was protecting me behind him, it was him, it's Jimin

"Who are you? What are you doing?" He asked

The guy still remained silent, I looked at his eyes and it was just looking at me, not even trying to glance at Jimin infront of him

"I'm going to call security" Jimin said and the stranger's eyes finally went to him before running away

Who was that?

My attention went to Jimin again, it has been a month since we had this kind of interaction, he finally turned to look at me, holding my cheeks with his warm hands checking if I was harmed or not

"Are you alright?" He asked, I only managed to look at him, his face was so close to mine, I can't help but to stare at his face complimenting every beautiful detail, his hands suddenly retrieved itself as he walked back

"I-I'm fine" I said snapping out of my thoughts

He smiled, his feet went to walk away until he stopped after hearing my words

"Thank you!" I yelled

"What friends are for"

I felt a loud pang in my chest after hearing those words from him, my eyes started to glisten with tears while I stared at his back slowly disappearing from my sight

Friends.

Did he moved on finally?

"Ellysa, where have you been?" I looked back behind me to see Taehyung looking at me

He must've seen my glasslike eyes as he suddenly cupped my cheeks to check

"Why are you crying? Are you hurt?" He asked and I nodded making him him worry more

"Where? Should we go home?"

"Here" I said pointing to my chest, his eyes softened automatically knowing the reason, he knows what our ceos told me and only him knows about it, surprisingly I managed to let it all out to him, I guess I was just starting to grow comfortable with his presence

"It's fine, I'm here" He said as he hugged me while caressing my hair

"No it's not fine Taehyung, I want him here, I want him to be in your place Tae, all I want is him" I said while lightly punching his chest

"Ellysa.."

"Why can't you tell him the news at the first place?" He suddenly asked

"I don't know Tae.."

"C'mon there must be a reason"

"I'm just...scared of rejection" I sobbed

"He's not going to reject you, it's not hard to t-try" I looked up to him when he suddenly stuttered

"What's wrong Tae?"

"I just don't want seeing you this devastated as if like he's dead, well he's not and if you try and talk to him, who knows maybe tomorrow morning you'll wake up in his arms again" he said, I looked at his eyes, it was starting to get watery making me smile

"I don't know but I can try, I just need time"

"That was exhausting!" Jennie said plopping down the couch

We just arrived at our dorm fully exhausted from the rehearsals earlier

"Hey Unnie, you were missing earlier, care to explain?" Lisa asked before drinking her glass of water

I heavily sighed before sitting down the other couch across from Jennie

"I guess I was zoning out too much that I didn't realize I wasn't with you guys anymore" I said

"Come to think of it, you really are, we all know something's bothering you" Rosè said

"The rehearsals is just too tiring and I think I'm going through insomnia these days, I haven't slept early even though I'm too exhausted" I said

"That's bad, do you want us to call your doctor?" Jisoo said as I quickly shook my head together with my hands

"No no I'm fine, I'll be able to overcome this myself" I said before standing up to walk into my room

I let out another frustrated sigh before locking my door behind me, I slowly walked to my bed and sat down at the edge of it while thinking of what Taehyung said

Should I really try?

But he only sees me as a friend now

"Jimin.."

"Jimin.."

"Jimin.."

I chanted his name like it was a mantra, it's just so soothing hearing his name, the name that I love and is still inlove with

"Jimin I want you back"

"Ellysa, I want you back"
