Chapter 1-

Hi! My name's Samantha Mitchell. I'm 13 and I live in South Carolina. I have a 16 year old brother named Tyler. My parents divorced when I was 10 and my dad didn't take it too well. Once they split, he started beating Tyler and me. Tyler always tried to stand up to him for me, but when he did, dad would hit him more. So now, I try to take the beating so my brother won't get hurt as bad. Uh oh dad's coming! Gotta go!
