Make You Mine [ ON HOLD/RE-CONSTRUCT]

Part Three.

Once they reach the summer cabin,Meng Rui orders Alice and the driver to be on lookout in case they being followed. When they are sure enough about their surrounding,Meng Rui carries Bowen into his summer cabin with the help from his personal driver.He passes through the living room and mini kitchen,heading toward the bedroom where he carefully lie him down on the bed. He gently places the blanket over Bowen's lower half and position his head on the pillow.

Meng Rui straighten up his back,looking down at Bowen.

"I am sorry" he says in a low tone of voice before turning his body and walks out.He leaves the door half open.

"How bad is the injury?" asks Meng Rui as he walks approaching the living room where Alice is been treated by the driver.

 Alice remains sitting on the sofa,gritting her teeth trying to surpass the pain from her shoulder while the driver help to clean the wound.Judging from the blood soaked bandage,Meng Rui knows Alice took a big blow. Meng Rui takes a sit across them as he attentively observing.

"She might dislocated her shoulder" replies the driver,Kean with a worried expression as he furrows his eyebrows looking at Meng Rui. 

"I'm not dying,stop with that look" Alice urges Kean to quickly finish up.

"Take her to the hospital,make sure to get a full check-up" orders Meng Rui. He looks calm but he is actually not calm inside.He is just used to seeing people around him getting hurt or killed.

"Young master,i am fine" Alice stands up. To her,the young master's safety is more important than her own life.Leaving the cabin means giving their enemies an open opportunity.

"While you are at it,find out more about Bowen's younger sister.Move her to a safer facility if necessary.Send me both of your file and hers" pursue Meng Rui. It's the only way to convince Alice.Knowing young master Meng's hidden agenda,Kean let out a soft smile as he wraps a clean bandage around her shoulder.

"If that's the case then...Yes young master" Alice reluctantly agrees.

Kean puts all the things he took out from the first aid kit back to their original space and placing it on the upper shelf.He then lightly tap Alice,indicating that he is ready to leave before politely excuses himself.

"If something happen......" 

"You are the first one to know" Meng Rui cuts off Alice's word.Slightly smiling,Alice nods her head. Kean is already on his way out.

"Take care young master" says Alice before putting on a jacket and catching up Kean's footsteps.

Watching the two of his closest people getting further away,Meng Rui heaves a  sigh.Just what in a world has he got himself into. He throws his gaze far,trying to gather his own thoughts.Keeping Bowen by his side is not a good thing.Unlike the younger man's world,his world is far more dangerous. Crouching on the sofa,Meng Rui massage his own temple.

Meanwhile Bowen in the bedroom starting to regain his consciousness.Thinking that he's on the verge of dying,Bowen takes his time before hesitantly open up his eyes.

"What is this sparkling thing?" Bowen squints his eyes,looking straight at the thing in front of his eyes. 

"Diamonds?Crystals?" He fails to recognize what it seems to be an acrylic ice drop light attached to the wood pillar above his head.

Bowen lifts up his left hand,extends it far as he tries to reach the sparkling ice drop light.He then chuckles once he realizes how stupid he is once he get clearer view of what's in front of him. It is not long before he starts to panic,turning his head to his left and right before rise from the sleeping position.

"Oh sh**!What now!Where am i?" Questions start to flooding his mind. He finds himself sitting on the unfamiliar bed at unknown place,not knowing if he is actually dead or still alive. His survival instinct kicks in. He needs to save himself now.

Bowen carefully moves his left feet,follow by right feet and softly land them on the floor before getting off bed. He tries his best not to make any sound as he tip toeing toward the half opened door. Turning his head around,Bowen looks for any possible thing that can be use as weapon. To his disappointment,the small bedroom has nothing much.So he clenches his fist,ready to thrust it forward. 

He cautiously pokes his head but his forehead instantly lands on a soft spot as his nose sniffs on a musky fragrant.

"You are awake.Feeling alright?" A croaky voice greets him before he could carry out his plan. 

Bowen immediately falls backward,aimlessly thrusting his fist at all directions with his eyes close. 

"What are you doing?Are you planning on attacking someone who save your life?" Meng Rui widen his eyes,staring at the younger man. 

"Eh?" Bowen finally stops acting like a retarded seal,as he finally cool down and bats his eyelashes.

"You save my life?But......who are you?Why?Where is this place?What's in your hand?" He starts to bombard Meng Rui with lots of questions but his eyes are fix on the food container in Meng Rui's hand.

"Meng Rui.My friend is actually the one who saved you.Here,you must be starving" Meng Rui extends his hand,offering the container to Bowen who happily receives it. He actually forget about his own safety at the sight of food. Meng Rui bought the food on the way to the cabin earlier.

"I am actually starving" Bowen says with an awkward smile on his face.

"Come out,you can eat at the dining area." 

Meng Rui leads the way to the dining area next to the living room,just few steps from the bedroom. Bowen looks around,feeling amazed. The cabin is not big but it is neat and clean with only some essential furniture.

"Is this your house?You know..those people are bad guys,you should not barged into their territory and take me out.They might be looking for you and your friend" warn Bowen once he takes a sit and eagerly opens the container;scooping a spoonful and shoves it into his mouth.

Meng Rui scoffs.How can he not know about that thing and he is fully aware of the fact.

"This cabin belongs to my friend's boss" Meng Rui takes out a bottle of orange juice from nearby refrigerator and places it on the table. The round dining table fits perfectly for two persons. 

"De boss muth be rish den wha yo jock?" Bowen speaks with his mouth full of food.

Meng Rui raises both his eyebrows,trying to make sense of what he just heard of. Bowen gulps down his food before correcting his speech.

"What is your job?" he asks.

" I ......" Meng Rui cant find a suitable word for his job for living.

"Caretaker?" 

"Yes" Meng Rui quickly agrees. 

Bowen finishes up the food in a blink of an eye.No doubt that he is starving. Bowen takes a glimpse at the current time.He bounces from the seat and hurriedly clean up the table. 

"I have to go now,my sister is waiting for me.Thank you so much for your hospitality" Bowen is ready to leave but Meng Rui stops him from doing so.

"The hospital is 2 hours from here by car.There is no car or public transport around here" explains Meng Rui.

"What?But....."

"My friend is taking care of your sister,so don't worry and spend the night here.I will take you there tomorrow" Meng Rui assures Bowen that Xiao Lu is safe.

Bowen goes outside to have a look around,confirming Meng Rui words. It's true that there are nothing around the cabin except woods. He goes back into the cabin and does as Meng Rui suggests,spending the night at the cabin. He sleeps in the bedroom while Meng Rui takes the sofa. Seems like the position switch,Meng Rui being the servant and Bowen is the young master.
