Star had heard the door open. She heard the door close, and heard feet walking up the stairs. Still whimpering she muttered, "Pinky Poof of Previous Place!" In a sparkly pink cloud she was teleported back to the taco stand. Just then Marco burst open the door to Stars room. "Star, it didn't work... Star?"

Star had walked in the As Seen On TV store. She crouched behind the Totes Legit Face Cream stand and buried her face in her hands. Meanwhile, Marco was rushing through the house trying to find Star. Finally he pulled her book from under her bed. "Glossaryk!" He shouted as he flipped it open. "What?! -oh its you Marco...what a disappointing surprise." Glossaryk said, leaning back lazily. "Look Glossaryk, now is not the time for riddles and jokes, Star's missing!" He gasped. "Star, gone?? You realize she could be anywhere in the universe right now?"

"Yes that's why I'm asking you to help. Please, Glossaryk." Marco was worried about Star, even if he knew she was fine on her own He knew she tends to cause problems. "Well," Glossaryk said, flying around in various yoga poses. "There is pink sparkly dust left here." He pointed to the ground. "Yeah, I just assumed it was glitter or something." Marco shrugged. "Yes. With Star, though, you never assume."

"Well what is it then." Marco asked impatiently. "Its pink teleportation dust. A sign of a spell that takes you to the place you were previously." Glossaryk explained. "So?"

"So where was Star before she came here?" Glossaryk said slowly. "The taco truck!" Marco exclaimed. "Well there you go then." Glossaryk shut himself in the book and the book slid back under the bed. "The taco truck." Marco said as he hit the palm of his hand with the fist. He bolted off with his bike toward the taco truck. When he got there he noticed pink sparkly dust on one of the benches. He saw a Chinese woman sitting at a table near by table.

"Excuse me ma'am, have you seen a fifteen year old girl run through here by any chance?" He asked hurriedly. "The devil child?" She asked. "Um yeah, sure." Marco said, nodding quickly. "She went in there." She pointed to the As Seen On TV store. "Thanks ma'am." Marco said quickly before rushing off. "Those two were made for each other." The Chinese woman said after the boy left.

As Marco dashed through the aisles he finally found Star in front of a shelf of Totes Legit Face Cream. She looked sad...really sad. "S-Star?" He finally said as he crouched down beside her. Star jumped up at the sound of Marco's voice. "Oh, hi Marco! What brings you to this store?" She asked nervously. "I was looking for you...are you okay?" Star decided to say the same thing to Marco as she did his mom.

"The guy I liked didn't ask me to the dance." She said sadly. Marco pulled her into a hug. A thousand butterflies exploded inside of Star. "Well that guy, whoever it is, is a complete idiot." Tiny laugh escaped Stars lips. "Come on, lets go get ice cream." Marco said. "But we just had tacos." Star replied. "That was for hangout time, this is for cheer up time." Star smiled.

As they were eating their ice cream, a subject that had been on her mind for months slipped out. "Marco, I think I'm going to move out." Marco looked stricken. "B-but why?" He asked, shocked. "I'm just having a hard time with my feelings, and living in your home is making worse." Marco looked sad. So many thoughts were running through his head. Why does she want to leave? Was it his fault? Is he willing to let me go?

"Unless of course, there was a reason you wouldn't want me to go." She said, just in case there was. "Its just." He said. "I don't understand why you have to go." Star smiled to herself. "Well, I think that I've explained that already, now haven't I?" Star stared down at her boots. Her mind was furious. Just say it! Just say the words that can change everything!

"It's just that you're my best friend" Marco said sadly. "I don't want you to go." He shrugged. Star wanted to change the subject. "So, what about you and Jackie? Did it work?" Marco looked down this time. "No, Oskar had already written a song for her asking her to the dance." "Oh." Star said, holding back a smile. Marco looked at her.

"You want to go with the dance with me?" Star looked up at him full of excitement. "As friends!" He quickly added as a defense. "Of course, Marco." She said smiling now. "You still moving out?" "No." She said. Saying it out loud, it just didn't make sense.

Star and Marco started to walk back. "Jeez Marco, its really cold!" She rubbed her bare arms. "Oh here." Marco took off his favorite red hoodie, and handed it to Star. She stared at it. "You-you said you were cold didn't you?" Star blinked. "Yes." She said. "Yes I did." She grabbed the hoodie from Marco and put it on. It was too big for her, but somehow that made it even better. "Thanks." She said. "I thought you never let people wear your red hoodie." He looked up a bit. "Yeah...but you're not a person." He said. "Oh, so you let mewnyans wear it?" Star asked. "No! You're more than a person to me. To me you're my best friend, and that's more valuable than the finest red hoodie in all the land." He said, smiling at her. "Thanks Marco!" Star said, seriously blushing. "Anytime, Star."
