"Chorong!" yelled Chorong's mom who was in the other room. She smiled happily as she walked to their room. "Yeah mom?" she spoke with perfect respect to her beloved parents. Her mom sighed, "Is there a problem?" she kept her grades up, she listened to their orders well, she kept her respect with everyone what could be the problem?

"Chorong, your father and I got promoted to CEO of the company" the mother smiled weakly but Chorong gasped and said "Congratulations! Why aren't we celebrating?" her father then said "since we've been promoted, we've been moved to a different office, in a different country".

Her excitement died, "a d-d-dif-fe-ferent c-c-country?" she didn't want them to leave, her graduation was coming up soon and she's the top of the class.

Her mother patted her back "I'm sorry we can't make it to your graduation, I know how excited you were to finish high school". Chorong shook her head "no, not really, I'm just glad you two got promoted" she tried to hide the sadness hidden in her with all her might.

"But honey-" "don't worry mom, I can handle myself here at home. How long will you be gone?" Chorong hoped it was just months or a year "we'll be there for about 5-10 years" her father answered in the midst of packing their things.

"When are you leaving?" Chorong held her tears back "we leave tomorrow evening but I know you'll be with your friends at that time and-" "I'll come to say goodbye" Chorong cut her off. "I should tell my friends about your promotion, I'll see you later". Chorong walked as fast as she could out the door.

She ran into her room then cried into her pillow. She couldn't be mad, of all things, she should be happy. She's finally graduating, and her parents got a promotion, what right does she have to feel upset?

Chorong unlocked her phone and began cancelling her usual meet up with her friends tomorrow evening.

Rong unnie: guys, I'm going to have to cancel the meet up, I need to fetch my parents to the airport. They got a promotion and have to go to another country.

Bom Bom: Really?! That's great! xD I mean the promotion thing but about the meetup, well, I'll just tell you guys on text. I was supposed to tell you this through text, We're moving to Japan for a few months.

Rong unnie: Really? That's so cool!

Eunji: I finally got a job -_- so I won't be able to meet up with you guys anymore :'(

Rong unnie: It's alright, but congrats on the job.

Bom Bom: yeah :)

Eunji: thanks, my shift starts now, bye.

BomBom: I have to start packing, bye.

Rong unnie: bye.

Chorong put down her phone, now her friends won't be able to meet up with her either. At least she still has her boyfriend, Suho. She picked up her phone again and began texting him.

Chorong: Oppa, what are you doing?

Suho: It's late afternoon, so I'm hanging out with the guys. Why?

Chorong: no reason. Oppa, where are you?

Suho: I'm at xxxxx cafe, they wanted bubble tea.

Chorong: Okay, have fun.

Chorong put down her phone, her relationship with Suho never changed. They never fought, they never argued, nor did they hang out much, slowly, their relationship faded. Everyone around her was slowly drifting away from her, so she needed to fix things up with him.

She picked up her coat and knock on her parents' door, "mom, I'm going to see Suho" "okay honey, take care!" answered her mom. She smiled and went to xxxxx cafe.

She hailed a taxi "where to miss?" "to xxxx street please" Chorong spoke with proper respect to the driver. She paid the driver after he stopped, she got off "thank you".

Chorong sighed then entered the cafe hoping to see several noisy boys hanging out with bubble tea in their hands but the cafe only had couples inside. No boys hanging out, not much noise, just a couple kissing in the corner.

But as Chorong looked at the guy, she realized it was Suho. He was cheating on her but her heart didn't break as much as she expected. She took her phone out and dialled him. She heard his ringtone from across the room, as he broke the kiss with the girl and picked up his phone.

Once he picked the phone up, she didn't wait and said "You're so stupid" Suho looked around but still didn't see her. "If you're going to cheat on me, you should've picked a prettier person" Suho stood up and excused himself from the girl to look for Chorong "what are you talking about?" He asked.

"Wow, Op- Suho, look to your right" Suho looked and saw Chorong. His eyes widened as he ran to her. She hung up the phone and just talked to him. His face was written with panic "Chorong, I can explain-" "explain what? That you never liked me? There's no need to explain, I came here to break up with you anyways, See ya" Chorong walked out coldly but when he grabbed her arm, she pushed him away.

Tears flowed down her cheeks, not because he cheated on her nor because she broke up with him, but because she had no one left to be with her. Loneliness was headed her way, and the one way to avoid it was to fix things with Suho but she just made things worse and broke up with him.

Chorong walked home trying not to show her parents that she cried. She fell asleep without any suspicions.

Next day.....

Time passed quickly as they rode a taxi to the airport. Her parents tried to make a conversation, a happy conversation with her, but it was useless. She would try to end the conversation quickly by saying "yes" then the reason or "no" and why.

She didn't feel excited about them leaving or about being left alone at home. They waited patiently for the flight and she passed time she listened to music. Her favorite song, Should've held on by Astro.

The song almost brought her to tears thinking of her parents leaving, If I have one more chance~

Baby please take my hand~

After the song finished and someone announced that they can now board the airplane to China.

"We'll see you soon, don't worry" her mother reassured Chorong but all Chorong could do was smile. "Take care of yourself, we'll videochat you the night after your graduation" said her father. "Don't worry, I will wait for you guys" was all that Chorong could say.

They said their goodbyes and Chorong watched them wave goodbye as they got further and further away from her until they were out of her sight but Chorong waited for the airplane to leave then hailed a cab and went home.

It was already very late at night, she needed sleep but she could barely fall asleep.

Chorong looked at the dreamcatcher that hung above her bed, "will you help me dream of happy things again? I really hope so".

Slowly, she fell asleep, tomorrow had a great adventure coming up for her.
