Chapter 14

"It's late, I should go to sleep" Chorong said and brisk-walked to her room. Jungkook sighed "I hate you Sanha" he muttered under his breath.

Jungkook headed to bed as well and fell asleep like a baby.

Next Day........

Jungkook, waking up early as usual, was just in his living room reading a book. Moonbin entered the living room and yawned. Jungkook noticed Moonbin's messy hair "so how was your sleep?" Jungkook asked with a smile on his face.

"Sanha and I kept telling each other scary stories and well, it was hard to fall asleep with a scary story on your mind" said Moonbin "I'm going to sleep in your room, Sanha kinda snores loudly" he said and fell on Jungkook's bed in his room.

Chorong came in a while after and said "Good morning" she had a smile on her face. "Whatcha reading?" she asked Jungkook, Jungkook put down the book and covered the title that said 'How to Confess 101'. "Nothing" he casually answered.

"I saw the title of that book hyung!" yelled Moonbin in Jungkook's room "I can help you with that too!" Moonbin continued. Jungkook smiled nervously at Chorong and closed the door of his room so Moonbin wouldn't be able to expose Jungkook more.

Chorong nodded and went outside "I'm going for some fresh air" she said and headed out the door. Jungkook then said "Chorong wait!" Chorong turned around "what is it?" she asked. "We need to go to 'The Little Mermaid' in 2 hours, okay?" Jungkook said. Chorong smirked "be sure the two children are awake before then" then left the room and closed the door.

Jungkook glanced at the two doors where behind them were 2 loudly snoring boys deep asleep. Jungkook sighed and folded up his sleeves "don't worry Chorong, they'll be wide awake within two hours". He smirked and went into the room with Sanha inside first.

Chorong came back into the house and found Moonbin and Sanha sitting on Jungkook's couch so prim and proper. "What's up with you guys?" she asked feeling a bit nervous why the two weren't that excited or something.

"Nothing noona, we just thought we needed to be up early for the next story" said Moonbin. "Yes Cho-" said Sanha but Moonbin nudged him and whispered "call her noona, she's way older than you" then Sanha continued "yes noona, we just wanted to be up early".

Chorong raised and eyebrow and yelled "Jungkook-ah!". Jungkook came in the living room with a black apron on and his blue sleeves folded up to his elbows. His look made him look 'husband material' but Chorong shook the thought off and asked "what did you do to these two?" he pointed at the two boys on his couch.

"I don't know what you're talking about" he said and walked back to the kitchen. Chorong rolled her eyes and told the two "you two regain your consciousness outside but keep yourselves hidden" the two nodded and went outside like two obedient students.

Chorong walked to the kitchen and said "one more hour, you ready?". "I'm ready, the question is 'is the mermaid ready for a swim?" Jungkook said and raised an eyebrow. "Who takes the first shift in staying here and guarding this house since the queen's palace guards are lurking around" said Chorong making funny gestures with her hands.

"Sanha, then me" answered Jungkook who was removing the apron. Chorong nodded "why can't we go any earlier?". Jungkook looked at his pocket watch and said "go get the two children, I heard you kick them out to 'regain their consciousness'" making the open and close quotation marks with his fingers.

Chorong took the two who were playing outside like 7-year-old children, "get in, you two". "Noona" said Moonbin "yeah?" Chorong looked at Moonbin. "Do you like Jungkook hyung?" Moonbin blinked dramatically hoping she would say 'No' since Jungkook once said 'no falling in love'.

"Moonbin, we'll talk about this later, okay?" Chorong said and pushed Moonbin inside. Jungkook and Sanha were in the living room and Jungkook as ready to snap his fingers to make the door to 'The Little Mermaid' appear.

"Hyung, I'll stay with Sanha here. You two can go ahead" said Moonbin and Sanha jumped in excitement and jumped on Moonbin's back. Chorong sighed "by the time we get back, you'll be out of food". Jungkook also sighed "by the time we get back, I'm going to have to refill the kitchen". Jungkook snapped his fingers and a glass door appeared with water seen right through it.

Jungkook opened the door and the water was still on the other side. Chorong stared at it and said "is it safe?" Jungkook smirked "you'll be surprised once you go through". Chorong went in and she felt the water move all around her body then when she looked at what she was wearing, she had a tail! A mermaid's tail! And a bra, a seashell bra on.

Jungkook followed behind Chorong and she saw him still wearing his shirt but he had a mermaid's tail too. "Wait, aren't mermen supposed to be shirtless?" Chorong asked pointing at him. Jungkook smirked "do you want to see me shirtless?". Chorong looked away and said "never mind".

Suddenly, a large shadow hovered above Jungkook and Chorong. Chorong looked up and found a boat floating above them but she could see smoke coming out of the boat and fire on it. Slowly, people began falling into the water and they floated with their heads still on the surface so all Jungkook and Chorong could see were their legs.

Someone fell into the water and he sank, he didn't float. Chorong immediately grabbed him and said "Jungkook help me!" Jungkook took the man's legs and they swam him to shore as quickly as possible.

Chorong stayed by the water while watching the man washed up on shore. She then sang with her beautiful voice:

"A fairy tale love, a person I keep forgetting~
I want a love that will find me~

My missing glass slipper, my other half~"

Jungkook watched her from afar and Chorong kept her eyes on the man ,who seemed obviously attractive. Chorong looked back at Jungkook but when she saw more people coming, Chorong's eyes widened as she glanced at Jungkook and they both ran back to sea but before they left, the man got a small glimpse of Chorong then fell back unconscious.

MEANWHILE.........

Moonbin and Sanha looked at each other with serious looks. Both sat at one end of the long table. Moonbin looked at Sanha and said "you got any threes?". Sanha smirked "Go fish" then lowered his cards, showing he had already won.

Moonbin face-palmed and said "seriously?! Three times in a row, how can you beat me?". Sanha smiled widely "I'm just that good hyung". Moonbin sighed then they heard a knock on the door. "Who's that?". Sanha shrugged and said "you stay here hyung, and hide when I tell you to".

Sanha walked up to the door and opened it, only to find a palace guard standing right in front of him with the queen behind the guard. "May I help you your highness?" Sanha bowed and said.

"Where is Mr. Jeon?" the queen strictly asked. "He is out, you know him, he loves some fresh air" Sanha said. "Then what are you doing in his house?" she asked looking suspicious. Sanha remained calm and answered "he asked me to watch his house, he said he'd be long out".

The queen sighed and said "fine, carry one with whatever odd thing you'd be doing". Sanha bowed once more to queen Irene. She left and Sanha closed the door slowly. He ran to Moonbin and said "it was the red queen".

"What did she want?" Moonbin asked. "I don't know, but she wanted to talk to Jungkook hyung" Sanha said with a panicked voice. "It must be serious for a queen to look for him" said Moonbin. "We have to tell him immediately once he comes back" said Sanha.

"I wonder how they're doing though?" Sanha grinned widely at Moonbin. "He He He He" Moonbin laughed evilly with Sanha, aigooo these two the author thought.
