you mangy tosser
with your five blistered fingers
Monday tragedy
tease the young dormouse
tether his balding tail to
your big pot-handle
pour some for Alice
sneeze and wheeze you old geezer
top hat falls over
dandy brunch for three
have you no recollection
of the last Monday?
lost your lizard yet?
don't welcome a serpent at
the grand eve-buffet
I'll hazard a guess
that you're a loner madman
without the patience
lose another pet?
or maybe just your pack of
cards with the jam tarts?
this forest swallows
you whole, devours your soul
unleashes darkness
your opium day-
dreams, feverish and vintage,
draining your tea leaves
top hat -- head duo
awaiting her majesty's
guillotine fever
