The Buddleia (also Buddleja) commonly known as the Butterfly Bush, often considered to be an invasive species because they can self-sow themselves between pavements (they even grew on bomb sites in the WW), are still well-loved for their bright colours and strong floral scent. Popular garden cultivars include Black Knight, Royal Red, Pink Delight, and Sungold.
