I take another deep breath,

Realizing I have nothing left.

Walking lonely roads,

Seeing emptiness cover the holes.

Drip, drip, drip.

It starts to rain as I almost tripped.

Hearing your voice still stuck in my head,

Seems as if it was a dream I had in bed.

Your presence still lingers here,

I wish I had forgotten you back there.

I don't have a clock but a second doesn't go by,

I still want to have you by my side.

I see the clouds passing by,

Just like you did so why even try.

You are a dagger sticking out of my mind,

It hurts my eyes, makes me blind.

The vicious voices, oh those voices

Remind me of all the bad choices.

The road of memories haunts me still,

Pouring into my brain 'till it's filled.

As weak and dumb as a dog I fell for everything,

Slept in your arms that filthy bog.

The rain I feel drags my body to hell,

I can't hear anything but piercing bells.

I can't stand not to think of you,

But to be honest it's all I do.

I'm able to make it through this maze,

Maybe be a deer to graze.

I take another deep breath,

Realizing I have nothing left.
