**Sorry about all the depressing poems, guys. Depressing poems are my favorite and that's why I've been posting so many, and if you don't like them just stop reading because there's going to be a lot more.

Also, I'm sorry I haven't updated with any of my own personal poems; I haven't really been able to come up with anything lately. Thanks to all the friends who gave me their poems to add, I really appreciate it! :D

Anyways, this next one was written by my friend @_maria_dallas_ **

My dear, my love, he quietly said

She could immediately feel the love spread.

I must go, it's about that time.
Just remember, I have your heart and you have mine.

No matter what happens out there in Iraq,
I'll stay strong for you and I'll be back.

If God decides that it's my time,
I'll be in your heart and thoughts, as you will be mine.

I love you,
I adore you my love.

She watched as her love walked away,

She could not help but cry.

Her eyes filled with tears,

He will be fine four years.

Two years went by,

Not one more tear did she cry.

I must stay strong, she thought

Until she heard those three knocks.

She opened the door and to her surprise,

Were two young generals carrying medals with pain in their eyes.

We're sorry for your loss Mrs. Ness,

She felt as if a knife had struck her chest.

She fell to the floor and started crying,

Her love, her soulmate, was gone.

Then she remembered what he said,

And how quickly the love spread.

She took the medals and said goodbye,

She could then feel her eyes dry.

I have to stay strong like he did for me,
He is in my heart and thoughts, forever with me.
