Childhood Memories: Uhhhh
Well, we live near a sea
It's a hubbub of actuvity over there, bikers, joggers, tourists, dog-walkers, vendors
Eateries are lined up the road, cars are parked parallel in the sand, people settle on these raised concrete barricades that double as seats, eating and drinking streetfood
When I was younger, it wasn't like that yet
I don't remember the bridge being there yet, maybe under construction
There were no cars or eateries within my reach
There was just a shoreline
A maze of boulders
A curious kid
I used to wade out into the sea, reaching down to pick up shells and corals until my pockets were sodden with them
I don't even know what I did with them
I just built myself a collection of useless, pretty things
