Taidaoto_Mishiga I finally got around to this

I went for depressing instead of creepy, bc depressing packs a stronger punch for me

These are, in no way, arranged in any order, they're just there

So uh

Let's start

》Chilledren - Kagamine Len

It's pretty much a dystopian-ish song, seeing as Boy L references his way fucked-up morals/perception on right and wrong

He justifies any crime he commits by the fact that he is an abandoned child, and the rest who are like him are barely scraping by as well

It's told in a pretty much lax tone, which emphasises the fact that Len has long lost his enthusiasm for the world

》Common World Domination - Hatsune Miku

But I prefer the Kagamine one, so--

Again, dystopia, a world wherein all individuality is stripped from each person

It's nice and peppy, but once you get down to it...

That's Vocaloid for you!

》Hello Again - Kagamine Rin/Len

This one just hurts

Len perceives Rin as speaking in a foreign language, one that he knows absolutely jack about, but he keeps at it, repeating it back at her in hopes that maybe they're "words of love"

There are many interpretations of this song, the most common one being one of them waking from a coma and being unable to grasp the language and therefore spouting gibberish

But there's another interpretation that I like in particular:

Len has autism and cannot completely wrap his head around the emotion/sentiment Rin is trying to convey

But he tries anyway

(Take off one earphone for additional heartbreak when you hear the other singing alone whoop)

》Classroom Bystander - Kagamine Len

Now, I remember this one from when I was just getting started

This is about conformity, and the feeling of never being able to fit in, and in the process of trying, losing yourself as well

The last line in particular strikes pretty hard:

"There are surely guys worse than me."
