Excuse me collarbones,
but today I got kissed
for the first time.
It was hope
filled in a scene of futility and despair,
and a rush of elation
consumed me as I lost myself,
in his soft embrace.
Fire clashed with fire
until it calmed
into a spectrum of sweet embers,
burning endlessly,
and guess what?
It cannot be extinguished.
