Carrie Frances Fisher was born in October 21, 1956 in Beverly Hills, California. She was the daughter of Eddie Fisher, a singer, and daughter of a actress, Debbie Reynolds.

At age 15, she appeared in a Broadway show called Irene.

 In 1975, she made her film debut in Shampoo, starring Warren Beatty, and Goldie Hawn. 

Before the age of 19, Carrie thought she was "Unknown" even though she had played in smaller roles/other.

Carrie Fisher knew performing arts (probably because of her mother). At age 19, Carrie Fisher casted as Princess Leia Organa, beating dozens of actress for the role. Carrie Fisher didn't know that Star Wars would be this popular. 

She surprised everyone on how she could do a some-what Jawa impersonation, and she also shared fun anecdotes and scary times on/during the film.
