she was causing a scene, and she needed help. some shady man was trying to touch her the way she felt uncomfortable. i quickly stood and ran to rescue her from the man. i told him to leave her alone and cursed at me.

i told him that i was going to call the police and he ran off, like a coward. i sighed and found her crying. i pulled her close to me and for the first time, i hugged her.

she never let go of me, and rather i wanted to comfort her more.
