The Train From London

The train from London

Clickers and clacks

This big chunk of old metal

Takes its time along the tracks

It randomly squeaks and bumps

Creaking around long turns

Clickety clack clickety clack

The train from London

Clickers and clacks

People staring blankly at screens

Like brainwashed apes

An elderly lady smiles at me,

I'm not so alone

Clickety clack clickety clack

The train from London

Clickers and clacks

I'm tired and my muscles ache

It's been too long a day

I click my knuckles and roll my neck

My back hurts, I need to sit down.

Clickety clack clickety clack
