The Hound

Oh, you big hulla-baloo!

Standing behind me when I'm cooking for you.

Your big, sad eyes look up at me

doe eyed and droopy like old ladies

As a puppy you're all tiny

Best friends? You're mine.

You're a bundle of nonsense,

and so daft, no common sense!

You're a pack dog but dwarf sized.

All colourful in lemon and white, but more lenthwise

With your short, stumpy legs and long body

You crash into lampposts

And steal all my toast.

Oh you're so sassy,

But I love you, my basset.
