"Is it me?" she shouted incredulously loud. "Is it me?" she repeated again, this time in a hoarse whisper

"Yes" her reflection replied in a soft undertone, almost as if it was mocking her. "Its all your fault" it retorted in a disgusting manner. The reflection's confidence building on the girls weakened posture.

" I thought you loved me?! the girl replied

"Ha!  Love you! Look at yourself,  what is there to love?" The girls reflection stabbed back.

"Isn't that what love is about, accepting one's flaws and imperfections as what they are?" She shouted back as loud as she possibly could. "If that's not what loving yourself is all about, then I don't need you or your judgmental self to accept me!"

To prove it she picked up her mirror and raised it to the highest point. Then she dropped it unexpectedly, watching as the pieces shattered to the ground. She held her head high as she stepped over the broken shards, leaving her once broken and unloved self behind.
