"Mama!"
The drowsiness suddenly disappeared and her eyes sprung wide open as Soo-ryun suddenly heard Hwan. Soo-ryun looked down beside her and saw the white sheets drenched with blood. She hurriedly went towards the closet and pulled out a couple of clean towels before running back to Hwan's side on the bed. He was breathing heavily as his blood flowed out, slowly killing him.
"Mama..."
"I'm here, Hwan," She told him softly. Soo-ryun pressed the towels on his wounds to stop the bleeding. "Mama's here..."
"I saw... a girl..." he whispered softly as she tended to him. She looked at him; his eyes were half open. His sweat mixed with blood rolled down the side of his face as he looked at me.
"Brown eyes..." he whispered once more before his eyes slowly fluttered close.
Soo-ryun stared down at the little boy's delicate face. Tears slowly rolled down her cheeks. She tried to muffle her cries as she continue to tend to Hwan's wounds. She felt hopeless.
