A/N: Sorry about the wait. It's assignment season :P

Also this song is soooo Trace XD

"So you were in a giant maze?"

"Yes."

"A maze guarded by giant half-robot-half-monster creatures?"

"Yes."

"And the maze was full of boys?"

"Also yes."

"You were the only two girls in this maze?"

"Sí."

"Interesting."

"I thought so."

Trace had taken the bulk of the interrogation for the last ten minutes, with Teresa filling in the gaps where necessary. Harriet could be very demanding when she needed to be, and Trace was having a little difficulty keeping up with it all. She still had a splitting headache from whatever it was they'd gassed her with, and her wounds from the Griever fight were still fresh. She just wanted sleep again.

"It's the same thing," Sonya pondered aloud. "Only with boys, not girls. And they had an extra girl."

"An extra girl?" Trace asked. "What do you mean?"

Sonya frowned at her in a very Newt-like fashion. Trace felt another pang of sadness at the sight. "We only had Aris. He arrived last. A few days after Rachel. He was the only boy."

"Who arrived before Rachel?" Trace asked, wondering if someone had arrived at the same time she did.

"Tammy."

"Can we confirm that Tammy is a girl?"

"Yes we can. We can confirm that," another girl spoke, stepping out from the group. She was very pretty, with dark hair and blue eyes. Trace decided she must be the aforementioned Tammy.

"Shuck it. Why'd they send me then? Why did we have two girls and you had only one boy?" she frowned.

The girls looked at Harriet, who simply shrugged. Nobody knew any more than Trace did.

Except Teresa. Trace looked at her now, standing back from the group, trying to be inconspicuous. I see you, Teresa. I know your stupid plan. Now tell me mine.

"How did you escape the maze?" another girl asked.

"We figured out a code," Teresa interjected. "The maze walls moved each night and we mapped the movements for years. We finally figured out the code."

"Yeah, that, and Thomas, Minho and I found the shuck Griever Hole like the heroes we are. Then we led everyone to it and we had to fight Grievers and klunk and some people died and that was sad and all- especially Alby, bless his soul- but I killed Grievers with my bare hands so I think overall I was the MVP that day."

"All you did was grab a Griever's butt and get squished," Teresa smirked.

"And what did you do, Teresa? Hide in a hole? I might also add that I defeated five Grievlets and upheld my title as the almighty Griever Deceiver while you were busy doing the oh-so-dangerous job of pushing some buttons."

"Killing Grievlets actually sounds pretty cool," the first girl stated. Trace liked her too. She liked a lot of these girls, come to think of it. Why didn't they get bigger roles?

They probably died, she thought. They're extras. That's what extras do.

Still, she held a little hope for them.
