Emma's POV
OMG what was that sound?! It must have come from the kitchen. It was so loud, a clattering sound. It's so early in the morning, 5:00am, Friday. OMG what if it is a murderer who broke in or a burglar who wants my money. I looked around to find some kind of weapon. I rummaged in my purse and found a bottle of perfume. I took it and walked slowly to the living room area to the kitchen area and sprayed the person who broke into the cabin.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Stop! STOP! It's ETHAN" Ethan shouted putting his hands over his eyes
"OMG ETHAN babe, I'm so sorry" I said putting my bottle of perfume down and going to get water for his eyes. I ran back to the kitchen and gave the bottle of water to him.
"I am so sorry, babe. I didn't mean to. You scared me with the mess you made in the kitchen" I said chuckling and looking at the mess of the kitchen tools lying randomly on the kitchen floor
"This is the second time you did this. Remember the first?" Ethan said at the sink trying to wipe the chemicals away from his eyes
"Yes, I remember the first time I did that and I was very sorry about that" I said wrapping my arms around his torso and trying to comfort him
"What were you trying to do here anyways?" I asked and he turned around and looked at my face
"Innocently making breakfast for you" He said putting the plastic bottle near the sink and carrying me up, putting me on the kitchen table and gave me a kiss on the lips
"Aw that's so sweet, you didn't have to" I said touching his face and wiping the water droplets on his face that he missed
"And I asked Dan if it was ok. If I stayed with you for the week to keep you company and to my surprise he said yes. I also told him that I was going to L.A. to help out Mads and he told me it's ok to join you guys" Ethan said
"Omg that's amazing" I said kissing him
"Yeah, he really likes you Emma" Ethan said
"Well, what were you making exactly" I asked him looking at the empty pan
"Well, I was going to make you pancakes and hot chocolate with marshmallow inside and surprise you but you woke up by me trying to get the spatula but instead I made a loud sound and a mess" Ethan said in disappointment
"Aw, it's ok Ethan. We'll make pancakes together and let's make my mom's, Kristen's pancakes" I said picking up the spatula but just something inside of me made me sad thinking about Kristen and Ted
