Even if you aren't a big fan of anime, I suggest you give it a go. It focuses on a boy in elementary school meeting a deaf girl and bullying her, and they meet up in high school by accident and the boy, who realised his actions were wrong, wants to be friends and make up for what he did.
Is it just me, or do I rarely see deaf/blind people represented properly in a movie, ever?
