I woke up to a song. Which meant that Lexi was sitting at her desk doing homework with earplugs in. She always forgets that she has a roommate. I'll just have to live with that.

The last week flew by like it was nothing and I was going to classes again. With the usual conversations I made my way through the hall. By now everybody knew I was the girl who got hit by lightning. It also made me instant popular and people were always hanging around me and asking for my opinion, which is not as fun for a introverted awkward shy girl like myself. I felt trapped, luckily I had Lexi she would make sure I sometimes had some alone time. I don't know what I would do without her...

That's why I didn't mind her singing in the morning, I mean she does so much for me the least I could do is let her do her own thing. Right? I slowly let my eyes get used to the light before I spoke up: "hey". Was all I said and it must have been hard enough for Lexi to hear because she turned around and stopped instantly, quickly apologizing for her singing and she asked me how I was feeling. She had been asking me that every morning since the accident and as always I answered with 'very good'. I loved how much she cared, she was a real friend.

After I got dressed we walked to the big park where most students where to be found, either studying or talking with friends. It was a beautiful park with lots of space me and Lexi went to sit in the grass, it had become a habit. We sat down and started talking about silly things I wouldn't be able to recall later. Life was good.

Then out of nowhere a girl and a guy joined us and started talking about a party on their floor and asked if we would come. Without any idea who these two were Lexi answered for the both of us with "yes, sounds awesome". But I didn't share that opinion, I hated over crowded places and I also didn't like party's. I kept this to myself after I saw Lexi's face brighten up about just the thought of a party.

"looks like where going to a party tonight." I said flatly while Lexi started planning her outfit and asked me all sorts of questions about my outfit, she decided that she was going to help me pick something because I had no idea what to wear. She dragged me up and ran to our room almost tripping sometimes because she ran like a zombie was chasing her and all the people in the way didn't really help.

After a few minutes we reached our room and Lexi found her way into our combined closet, and started to throw stuff out of it.

After 10 minutes she picked out two sets and gave me one of them, a white summer dress with  sleeves just over the shoulders and a pair of black and white low sneakers.

And for herself a turquoise top with a lace layer with flower print and a black skirt for just above the knees. Ending with turquoise Venz.

She also picked some unnecessary jewelery that she insisted would look "cute" but I refused with the excuse that I would lose them anyway.

1 hour later we arrived at the right floor and the music was already pounding through the speakers. I went to look for a slightly less crowded place because I lost Lexi in the massive crowd. I finally found the kitchen which was less crowded as the hallway where I just pushed my way through.

I walked into the kitchen, my head still pounding it's been getting worst this past hour. I went into the kitchen to get a glass of water, but the headache was taking a turn for the worst. I felt like I was spinning, like I was drunk. I knew I wasn't but it felt like it.

I went to sit down on a chair with a glass of water that I just got for myself and shot the glass back in my throat. The cool sensation hit my teeth and tongue. As I swallowed the sensation started to fade, But my headache didn't. It kept getting worst and I tried to stand to find myself a couch or a bed to rest for a few seconds.
