10. Tripping On My Feet

12 1 2

You've got me tripping on my feet,

Making my heart forget to beat.

With every crooked smile,

I can't help but stare at you for a while.

Whenever you walk by,

Time starts to fly.

I find myself thinking about you,

And every little thing you do.

Common sense is slipping through my fingers,

Yet something else still lingers.

When I bump into you in the hall,

My sensible thoughts start to fall.

Laughing as you make it a joke,

I turn away as I begin to choke.

Each and every day,

There is always something I want to say.

I wish you knew,

That I'm the one running after you.
