Shotgun Marriage [Chanbaek]

SHOT SIXTEEN

The next day, both Chanyeol and Baekhyun do their usual routines before going to their work and school, after an hour of both preparing at the same time eating breakfast they settled inside the taller's car and start driving off with a total silence between them

Chanyeol glance at the silent brunette who has his earphones on and slightly bobbing his head with the sounds of music invading his ears

And what keep the giant on glancing on the midget's side is the thing it was holding in his hand, a sketch pad and a charcoal pencil, silently moving a swift stroke to the paper creating a dark and light shade shape who appears to be a face that Chanyeol doesn't recognize at all

"Is that your project? Why are you doing it now? Why not in the house?" The taller questioned eyes were now focused on the road

And because of the loud music in the smaller's ears he receive no answer at all, instead Baekhyun keep on doing what he started, not until a large hand grab the pencil from him that made him gasp in surprise and annoyance for being disturb

"What the hell!" He groan as he removed the earphones from his ears and shift to gave a giant a glare "give that back Chanyeol" he continue and tried to reach the pencil from the taller's hand but fail to do so

"I was talking to you, yet you're too occupied with that stuff, what's that for anyway?" Chanyeol said as he throw the pencil on Baekhyun's lap

The latter just scoff and went back to his comfortable position putting the sketch pad back on his lap before saying "it's none of your business, just drive faster because it's nearly seven"

"None of my business huh?" The taller hissed and step on a break forcelt causing the midget to push back and fort to his seat

"YAH! YOU IDIOT!" the midget whines slapping the sketch pad to the taller's shoulder "I don't want to die yet! And why did you stop! I'm going to be late!" He scolded with a light panick knowing that he only have them minutes to be inside their classroom

"Tell me what's that for! It's just a simple question Baekhyun!" The ever so stubborn business man protested and grab the sketch pad on the latter's hand who gasp in shock when the paper suddenly disappeared from his hand

"Give that back oh my gosh!!!" Baekhyun whines and quickly pulling the pad from the taller's hand but fails to do because the giant keep pushing his hands away while trying to examine the drawing

"I never knew you were good in drawing, impressive" he commented and still trying to figure out who's in the midget's drawing "who is t-- is this Sehun!!?" He growl when he recognized the sharp a pointes jaw of his cousin, same as the double eyelids and it's small slightly thick like of it

He gave Baekhyun a glare and questioning look while he point at the drawing, Chanyeol didn't know too but he's kinda want to know why his fiance was drawing his cousin's face

"Yeah! Are you happy now? And that's for our assignment since my professor told us to draw our own vision of Adonis, and ever since I saw this guy, I think he's good to be an epitome of Adonis" Baekhyun ranted and pull back his paper

Slightly taken a back with a touch of jealousy inside him, the giant just stare blankly at the midget who was continuing his drawing

"Why him? You could have draw me instead, I'm more good looking than him" the giant mumbles to himself as he start to drove off again

Arriving in front of the school, the mdiget quickly pull off the seatbelts off him and put the paper back in his back same as his pencil amd earphones

But before he opens the door, he turn to Chanyeol who remain quiet after the question and answer portion between them, the giant didn't look at him unlike the first time he drove Baekhyun to his school, but now he just stare straight to the road like just waiting for the midget to get off his car

Baekhyun carefully unlock the door as he still have his eyes on the mute giant "will you fetch me after class? My friends will be with me, as I told y--" he was interrupt when the taller finally spoken

"I won't, just go together with your friends and let's just meet in the house" a cold and inconsiderate tone came out from Chanyeol's mouth which cause the smaller to feel slightly hurt and awe

But Byun Baekhyun as Byun Baekhyun, he added "aren't you gonna kiss me goodbye?" Making the taller shift his head to his way giving him a nonchalant look "no, we're not boyfriends so no, and if you're going to mention that we're fiancé, that was just a condition okay? So get off my car" the still cold and stubborn tone keeps coming out from the taller's mouth

Being hurt and taken aback from the taller's used of words, Baekhyun just nodded trying to hide his hurt ego and just held his bag and opens the car door

But the rude giant never missed the screaming pain in the midget's eyes before it turn it's back from him

"Baekhyun" Chanyeol called being guilty with the words he had spoken

The midget pause and turn his head to look "yeah?" He simply answer as he was already clutching on the door that was slightly open

"N-nothing, goodbye" he reasons, when the truth is he really want a goodbye kiss from the midget

"Okay" a simple yet disappointed answer from the midget is all he received before it finally went out off his car

"Idiot Park, youre a big idiot" he scolds to himself slapping his own forehead before he decided to drive his way to his office

Jealousy really makes me an idiot, the giant mentally said and tries to just focus on his driving while also thinking of ways on how he can make it less awkward to face the midget, later in the house
