Shotgun Marriage [Chanbaek]

SHOT FIFTY SIX

Staring at the files Chanyeol had handed him. Baekhyun suddenly felt a water runs over his cheeks

He stares at Chanyeol's printed name with a signature above it and beside it was his name and his signature that he cant remember when and where did he sign a divorce papers

Looking up to his soon to be ex husband. Baekhyun wipe his tears and toss the papers aside before standing and take a steps to get near to the taller

"Why?" Is the first word he ask while he keeps holding up his tears though his lips were already trembling with his nose slowly getting pinkish

Chanyeol take a deeo breath and tear his eyes from the midget. He placed his hand in his pocket to lowkey prevent his self to grab and comfort Baekhyun in his arms

"Its all been planned Baekhyun. Im just following the deal"

Baekhyun blinked as he got confused by Chanyeol's sentence

"Deal? What deal?"

He was waiting for an answer but rather, he received a shoulder shrugged from Chanyeol

"Tell me so I wont look stupid here!" Baekhyun almost yell at Chanyeol

The taller breath and nod "Alright, you see when we got married. We both know that its a forced marriage, and before I told you that you were going to be with me I also told you that I already talked to you parents"

He paused seeing how Baekhyun's face slowly flash a hurt expression

"And one of your father's condition is that, when we fought at you came back to them" he heave a deep sigh and set a clear eye contact with Baekhyun "a divorce paper will be between us. And the only option he gave if is its either I sign the papers or they will never let me get near you"

Baekhyun did not react but rather he jog towards Chanyeol and slip his arms between its arms and circle it around the taller's waist creating a tight embrace

"Idiot! Youre a big idiot! Why did you sign it! As if my dad can forced me to live in other place!" Baekhyun cried

Holding back his self to hug the midget back. Chanyeol just look down meeting the midget's eyes that was flooded with its crystal cleae tears

"Baekhyun. A deal is a deal, besides one more process. You will no longer carry my surname" Brushing the tears off the midget's eyes, Chanyeol place a tender kiss on Baekhyun's forehead

Baekhyun pull out and look around "We can tear the paper apart. In that case no divorce will happen" Baekhyun state and hurriedly pick up the folder he toss on the floor

But Chanyeol was quick to move. He grab Baekhyun on his arm to turn it around again

"Baekhyun no" he said with a firm tone

Shock and hurt. Thousands of questions starts to contract on Baekhyun's mind

"Calm down okay? Dont tear that, just give it to your dad"

After saying it. Chanyeol slides his hand down to the midget's hand where their wedding ring was placed

Intertwining it  with his hand for the very last time. He kiss the back of Baekhyun's palm before tracing its finger to slip the ring out of his finger. He did the same to his finger before placing both of their rings in his palm and in to his pocket

"I- I need to go" The taller announced eyes on the ground as he turn his heels around

With heavy feet. He slowly take the steps towards the door while mumbling 'Im sorry' in his mind

"Dont you love me anymore? Or have you ever love me? Huh Park Chanyeol?" Cannot bear to be left without further closure. Baekhyun utter the questions he's been keeping in

Nailed on his position. Chanyeol stays back facing the midget

"Because if you ever wonder if I loved you. Honestly yes! I love you! I love you that I felt nothing but pain in me right now" Baekhyun yells with his tears continously flowing out his eyes

And instead of answering Chanyeol move his feet from his position and continue his way out of the Byun's house leaving the midget dumbstruck

Upstairs, Mrs Byun made sure to play a loud nursery rhyme so that Sarang will not hear any of Baekhyun and Chanyeol's fight

And on the end of the stairs was Mr Byun who watch the whole scene. And now making his way to his crying son

Patting the back of Baekhyun's head. Mr Byun tried to comfort his only son by shushing it

Feeling safe with his Dad's presence. Baekhyun turn around and plant his self inside his father's embrace

"I hate you dad! I hate you"

"Im just protecting you son. And you'll see there will be a better payback for these"

"Kill him dad! Shot him with your gun. Im hurting right now! Its his and your fault! I'll make sure to tell mom to divorce you too!"

Despite of his son's whine. Mr Byun just chuckle and sway both of their body with the rhythm of Baekhyun's cry

Weekends had pass. And Baekhyun still feel something heavy inside him. He woke up like a zombie walking towards his bathroom to prepare for school

Though he's not yet ready to face his friends. He needs to for he missed lots of activity in school and besides Kyungsoo has been sending death threat to him

He finishes preparing for school after forty five minutes and twenty minutes before class hour he left the house after bidding goodbye to his parents amd Sarang

After his fight with Chanyeol almost a week ago. He did not bother returning the child back and even collecting his things back from the taller's house

He take one of the car and drive his self to school. Turning on the radio and setting the sounds to its highest volume he search for a reggae music to lessen his thought from everything

Because of his driving speed. He arrive at school after fifteen minutes. After he locked his car. Baekhyun fish his cellular device from his pocket and check if there's a message. But none appear so he proceed on walking towards the campus

Until someone wearing a black suit approach him

"Mr Byun Baekhyun" a robot like men in black says causing the midget's lips to twitch

"What do you want"

"I was task to send this letter to you" the guy hand him a white folded paper which he hesitantly accept

"Who se--" before he could even ask the men in black was already few feet away from him

"Weirdo..." he just look at the paper on his hand amd shrugged "I'll just read you later" he slip the paper in his pocket and continue walking
