Three: Lustrous

We are back again in the class, still sitting in front of that rude girl's chair, we are going to start the lesson now but seems like she is not back from the cafeteria as she is not on her seat, her seat is still empty.
"Okay, we are having a group project," the teacher said as she is holding on the paper.
"Here I will give you a text, read it and translate it to Korean, with your partner" the teacher continues but someone opens the door carelessly and entering the class, arrogantly.

"Momo, don't be late again, later" the teacher yelled at that girl as she just walks passed by me and takes a seat on her chair.
"Okay, let's continue.. hmmm please make a group of two" the teacher said as everyone moves their chair to their partner, but not me..
Jihyo is with Tzuyu and who will be my partner.
"Mina you can be her partner, everyone got her partner and she is the one left," the English teacher said as she points the girl behind me.
No..don't tell me I will be having a rude af partner.
"Here, you two, submit it at the end of the class," the teacher said as she gives me the English text.
Okay, I will just give in to this situation.
"Hey, let's do this" I turn my chair back and facing her as she glared at me.

"You don't need to be my partner if you don't want to," she said.
"No, I would like to be your partner.." I said as I smiled at her and start to do the task.
I grab my pen as I start writing, I write my name on the paper as..
"Your name is Momo, right?" I asked her as she nodded.
"So,..." I mumble as she put on her earphone and ignored me.
Okay, guess this is just my bad day, yes.. I will just do this annoying group project alone, just with myself..
She is ignoring me and just sleeps while the other group is doing theirs together and me? Just do this alone, it is difficult and hmphh.. okay I will just do it.

"Okay, times out, submit it to me now," the teacher said as I'm still a half of it.. shit.. what should I do.. this girl is not helping me at all and in the end, I don't make to finish it.
"Mina? Momo?" The teacher is calling us.
"W...waitt...miss.." I said as suddenly that girl wake up and snatch the paperwork from me.
"Give us three minutes more" she shouted at the teacher.
"Momo, the lesson ends and please submit it," the teacher said as she grabs my pen and starts to write all the answer just in a blink of an eye.
She is good at English? She is so fast.. wow.. she looks so lustrous with her serious face, focusing on the task..her eyes that scanning on the text, her finger, her hand which is working with that pen, oh goshh snap it out Mina..

I think what Jihyo and Tzuyu told me is true, they are so alluring by just the single little things they do, with that charm that already merges at themsleves,
"Done, submit it," Momo said as she hands me the paperwork and place the pen down on the table and grabs her bag, get up from her seat as she pushed her chair back and walk out from the class, arrogantly..
We are all still in the class as we don't even greet the teacher but she just go home without any word? What the heck?

"Mina?" The teacher called me again as I'm blanking looking at the girl that just left the classroom.
"Ah yes, here miss" I submit the paperwork and we greet our teacher for the dismission of the class.
"Wow, this is the first time she works in a group for the group project, what a magic" Jihyo comes to me as she claps her hand.
"Who? Momo?" I asked.
"Yeah.. Momo" Tzuyu answered.
"Really? She is good at English you know" I said.
"She is good at every lesson except math" Jihyo said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeahh.. she never really cares for the lesson as she always sleeps or just listening to the music at class but she can do the exam, perfectly," Jihyo said.
"We thought that she cheated when exam, but no.. she did it herself perfectly" Tzuyu continues.
"How can it be?" I asked as I shocked.
"I don't know.." Jihyo said.
"That is one reason that she has that the secret charm that will make you fall for her," Tzuyu said.
"Yes, I found it is so charming, she looks good while she is focusing on doing the task," I said.
"Oh no.. Mina..stop seeing her that way and end up falling in love with her, because you must face that cruel squirrel queen first" Jihyo said as I look at the person who is talking with Momo seductively.

"She is not that cruel, Jihyo stops talking bad about her," Tzuyu said.
"This bitch, I know you like her and please just stop dreaming for being her girlfriend, you know she is Momo's ultimate fans and she never gives up on her, as she always get rid the girl who has a crush on Momo" Jihyo said as we walk out from the school building together.
"Who are you talking about?" I asked.
"Sana, that girl," Jihyo said as she points the girl who is clinging on Momo.
They walk together as I can see Momo is smiling at her.. ohh the arrogant princess is smiling..
"They are dating?" I asked.
"No, they are just close to each other as they have been nominated as the cutest couple here," Tzuyu said.
"Cutest?" I asked.
"Yes, you will just see the cute side of Momo, someone who is hardly ever smiling or laughing, someone just will smile if Sana tease her and she will just talk to Sana like she talks to her savage friend, no one can get to talk to her like Sana as she will not act that friendly to a person that will be just a stranger for her, like us and the other student, except Jeong, Chaeng, and Sana" Jihyo explained.

I looked at that 'cutest couple' of high school, as yes I can see Momo smiling at Sana cutely, she looks beautiful with that smile.. but why they are not dating each other? Momo might like Sana from what Jihyo said.. Sana may be a special person to Momo as they talk and act like a lover, but why they are not dating?
