You and Harry had been friend for a long while, and it had never been anything more. Until Harry confessed his love to you.

"Y/N, I have loved from the day we met. I can’t tell you how often you’re on my mind." He said grabbing your hand.

The shock of his confession, make your stomach twist in nervous knots. He loved you, but you didn’t wan him to know that you felt the same.

What if it didn’t work out? You would lose your best friend. So you resorted to what you knew always worked in a situation where you wanted someone to back off…..you acted like a bitch.

"You’re joking right?" You said laughing, knowing he was completely serious.

"Why would I joke about something like this?" He said with confusion spreading across his face.

"YOU JUST WHAT!?" He screamed slamming a fist into the wall.

"I’M BEING SAFE! I’M PROTECTING MYSELF, FROM BEING HURT BY YOU, BY ME……by us." You yelled back.

His face relaxed, like the rest of his body. He came closer and grabbed your face. He kissed you slowly, and sweetly, it made your lips burn, it made your hair stand up on end, and your heart race.

"I would never hurt you." He whispered."

After three years together your boyfriend finally proposed. You were so excited to tell everyone especially your best friend Liam. He had always been there for you when you and your boyfriend had any problems. He had talked to though everything, and now he wouldn’t have to ever again. Liam came over to you apartment, to hang out and to hear the good news.

"Hey you sounded really excited on the phone, what’s going on?" He said cheerfully.

You couldn’t wait to show off your new ring. You brought the hand you’d been hiding out from behind your back and waved it in front of him. Instead of being happy like you had expected his face ran white and stripped of emotion.
