CHAPTER THIRTY SIX

Luke's POV
Nixie is down at the pool at the hotel while I said I wanted to sleep which was a lie, I'm here trying to figure out how to make this night alone a bit more romantic, I went down to a shop and bought candles and Nixies favourite flowers which is red roses and dark blue lilies, I set them and the candles around the bedroom and lounge, I turned off the lights and closed the curtains, I lit the candles which lit up the room, I ordered room service and set the food down, I went and changed into a black button up top and some dark grey jeans, I pushed the sleeves up my arms, I cheeked my hair in the mirror, I heard the door and I ran out to the door and stood there.

Nixie's POV
I had finished at the pool so I went in the showers and changed into a long black dress that had a cut right up my thigh, it was tight as well and it hung down my back I added my black heels and I put red lipstick on I brushed my short curly hair, I clipped my side fringe back so it was hanging a little loose, I checked my self over and grabbed my bag and headed up, I opened the door and set my bag down, I closed the door and turned back the room was all set up with candles red roses and dark blue lilies, I saw Luke standing there, he smiled at me, I walked towards him

"You did this?" I asked

"Yeah I did um I want our night alone to be special since we never really get time like this without the little ones" he said

"Your the best fiancé ever," I said

"You look gorgeous by the way" he said, I blushed and looked down, he grabbed my hand and turned me around in a circle

"Thanks,"  I said, he led me over to the lounge and there was food all on plates

"Aw you also got food," I said as we sat I crossed my leg over, Luke looked down

"Wow" he said, he looked up at me

"T-that is a lot ah of um leg showing" he stuttered

"Is something wrong with that?" I said as I moved my legs crossed on to his lap and held my self up with my arms behind me

"No no not at all but um your making it very hard for me to keep my hands off you" he said, looking at my whole body up and down

"Naw poor baby" I said, I got up and grabbed his hands and pulled him up, I kicked my heels off and led him to the bedroom

"Let's forget about the food," I said, I pushed him on the bed and got on top of him

"You know that this is very hot you taking control" he said

"Oh shut up," I said and kissed him, he rolled so he was on top, I wrapped my legs around his waist just as it was going further my phone rang

"Just leave it" he mumbled against my lips, I hummed in response, my phone went again, Luke started to kiss more harder, then my phone went again Luke pulled away and past me my phone, It was Beau

"hello" I said

"Hey can you come to the hospital," he said

"What? Why?" I asked

"Denzil was having a hard time breathing" he said

"Ok well be there," I said

"Bye" he said

"Bye," I said I ended the call

"What's wrong" Luke asked, helping me up

"We have to go to the hospital it's Denzil apparently he was finding it hard to breathe," I said, straight away Luke's face changed, he grabbed the car keys and fixed his top, I got my heels on and grabbed mine and Luke's phones and we headed to the hospital.

I and Luke ran in and got to the room, I walked over to Gina and picked up Denzil, I sat on Luke's lap and the doctor walked in

"Are you the parents?" He asked as he sat down

"Yeah what's wrong" Luke said

"It's fine it's because he was born earlier than he was meant to he'll need extra check up's than most so he can be monitored around his lungs today we done a scan and he has water in his lungs that's why he found it hard to breath today so with your permission we would like to remove the water now" he said

"Yes we would like it to happen," Luke said, I and Gina went to a room and lay him in the crib, they took him to get the tube put in his lungs, he came back, Luke walked in with some coffee, Gina was staying with us for a bit

"You look very beautiful by the way Nixie" Gina said

"Thank you, Gina," I said, she smiled

"I'm gonna go now ok I have the girls with me so don't worry and if you have to stay overnight please get some sleep" she said, giving us hugs and leaving, I went and sat on Luke's lap

"Well tonight didn't go to plan," Luke said, I lent on his shoulder

"Yeah" I sighed, he hugged me closer to him

"Well at least we know he's gunna be fine," I said tiredly

"Mmmh" he said, I kissed his lips

"Go to sleep," he said, I nodded and lay my head back on his shoulder and slowly closed my eyes to fall asleep.

Luke's POV
Nixie was cuddled on my lap asleep, I looked to see Denzil asleep as well, I made the lazy boy layout and I added a blanket over us and I put a pillow under my head and slowly fell asleep.
