"Hey Kate, you're back!" Bryce said smiling.
"Yep." I replied, not ready to be back to this small town.
I'm not exactly proud to be Bryce's sister. I heard about everything that happened. Some people say I can look and act just like him sometimes, but even though I can act snooty and selfish, that does not mean I am a rude and selfish jerk like him. I was really good friends with Hannah before she died. When I heard that I was one of the reasons why she died, I was broken. I had to move to Chicago because everything was too much to handle here, and now I'm back a year later. Yay...
"Some friends are coming to hang out later ok?" He said.
"Sure. Are Justin and Montgomery coming?" I asked excited.
"Yeah."
Justin is my best friend, and Montgomery is my boyfriend, well, Monty for short.
"Wait, can you put out the chips and dip?" He asked, acting like I was his maid or something.
'My first day back and I'm already doing work around the house again' I thought.
"Ya, let me put my bags in my room first"
By the time I was done unpacking, putting out the chips and dip, and helping Bryce with whatever else he needed help with, his friends knocked on the door.
I opened the door to let them in, and about 15 guys piled through the door. The music started playing and guys were cheering. I walked over to where his group of friends were and saw a bunch of alcohol. I took Bryce over to the side.
"Really, alcohol?"
"Ya, it's necessary." He replied laughing.
"Ugh" I said as I walked away, looking for Justin and Monty.
After about 5 minutes of walking, I finally found him.
"Hey!" I smiled as I hugged Justin.
"Welcome back!" He smiled.
"Do you know where Monty is?"
"He's next to the pool." He pointed.
"Thanks. I'll talk to you in a second, we need to catch up." I smiled.
"Ok." He smiled back.
I went up behind Monty and covered his eyes.
"Guess who?" I asked.
He took my hands off of his eyes, and turned around to hug me.
"You're back" He grinned.
"Yeah, I missed you so much. We need to catch up."
"You too."
I could obviously tell that Monty didn't really want to catch up with me, I could tell by his expression on his face. It was screaming 'I don't care'. Sometimes I wonder why I'm still with him, he never even texted me while I was gone. The only one that texted me was Justin, Bryce, and my parents.
