While you all were waiting for the day to arrive, it turned out the best man couldn't make it. Danny then asked Sans to do it. Sans simply shrugged and said,

He'd wait until after the wedding. It wasn't the right time for this. He needed to tell someone that he truly trusted with this first though. Sans teleported himself there. He went inside. Papyrus and Mettaton were watching a movie. They looked over at him.
