Chapter 1
Yawning loudly, as I slowly began to wake up earlier then I wanted. Smiling brightly I had a feeling today is going to be a great day. I could still see the woman from my dreams playing in the back of my mind. Smiling as I woke up fully, and I looked around my room. Frowning I realized my room felt dull and lifeless. So I decided to fix it up after I get back from work. Anyways It was my first day as a homicide detective, and I was actually very excited. What surprised me most was the fact the division was mostly made up of females. Thats a great thing though, because men can be abit cruel when it comes to women in law enforcement. I also found out that the division was not made up of humans, but of all types of were-creatures. I was content and abit thrilled to be around people of my species. I can't wait to finally meet them, and get to work as a Detective. So I untangled myself from my covers, and crawled out of bed. I stretched my back, and headed to the shower. I quickly stripped out of my clothes, and adjusted the water temperature. I slowly stepped into the shower, and groaned when the water cascaded down my sore back. I didn't mention my back being sore, because I was in such a great mood. It happened during a bike wreck, and it was not a pretty wreck. I flew off my bike, and landed square of my back. I was a bloody mess, because I happened to land on jagged rocks. Anyways here I was in the shower, and it felt damn good. The water felt so relaxing against my sore back. I forgot to mention my body is hot to the touch, and sometimes I really hated being hot all the time. The good thing is I never get sick because of always burning up. I slowly ran my fingers through my hair making sure it was all wet. Reaching over, and picking up my Axe shampoo. Opening it slowly, and squeezing about half a dollar size pile of shampoo in my hand. I quickly set the bottle on the edge of the bath. Leaning my head back, and then spreading the shampoo all over my head. I started massaging the soap into my hair and scalp. I turned around, and looked down as the water washed away the soap from my hair. When I was finished with my hair, I started on my body, so I reached for the body wash. When suddenly I heard someone approaching my house. I turned off the water, and started to get dressed. I dressed in a black tshirt, blue jeans, combat boots, and I put my necklace on. I sprayed axe all over me, and then walked to my front door. I turned the door knob, and went outside to see who it was. I usually don't see many people out here, so I was kind of excited to meet a few new faces. I'm usually not a people person, but lately I've been wanting some company.
A/N I really love writing, and I hope that everyone who reads likes it. Because I really try to make this story good. Sometimes I go through it, and edit it, and try adding more to older parts. Anyways comments are much appreciated <3
