I frowned deeply when I realized that I still had to get to work. Shay noticed my mood change, and she gently touched my shoulder. She looked into my eyes, and asked me "Are you okay Alex? Did I say or do something wrong?" I shook my head, and sighed softly as I spoke "You didn't do anything wrong my dear. I just sort of forgot I was on my way to work. If you want you guys can stay here until I come back. I would feel alot better if you guys had a place to rest or whatever while I'm at work." Shay whimpered, and my heart broke alittle. I swear fate is a sick twisted asshole, because I finally meet my mate and I have to fucking go to work. Shay smiled slightly, and kissed me on the cheek. I blushed a lovely bright red color from my neck all the way to my forehead. "We will see you soon, and if it makes you feel better we will stay at your place until you return." Shay said in such a beautiful angelic voice. I was quite dazzled by her, which is unusual for me. I'm always so use to being all in control of my emotions. I have a feeling Shay will be the death of me.
