“Savos! Thank you so much!” Donjar said running up to Savos as he walked into the temple.

“Im so glad you are awake Donjar, I have some news for you, important news” Savos said patting Donjar’s restoration robes. They walked outside and sat on a bench next to a big purple tree.

“What is it?” Donjar asked,

“Read this note” Savos said, passing Donjar the contract from Atmah for the hired thugs. Donjar took the note and started reading, only taking seconds to do so.

“Atmah? What did you do?” Donjar asked, passing the note back,

“I paralyzed her to get past her to go to Whiterun and get you healed” Savos replied,

“Paralyze?! When did you get that?” Donjar said,

“I ‘borrowed’ one of Tolfdir’s scrolls” Savos replied, “Also, when I left all of the master mages had left to kill Herbane for what he had done to us, they think you’re dead” Savos said,

“We’d better get back” Donjar said, standing up and running down the steps,

“Wait, I’m pretty tired, it’s nice and sunny here, we could stay” Savos said running after him.

“Hurry up, I’ve got a horse, we’ll ride to Winterhold” Donjar said

“Fine, where are stopping? It’ll take us more than a day” Savos said, catching up with Donjar,

“We’ll go to Ivarstead for this evening, we’ll stay there for a night and then we’ll go for Windhelm tomorrow, leave early get in late” Donjar said,

“Fine, we’d better hurry, it is 2 pm!” Savos said, running through the doors.

Donjar’s horse was  called Fire and was an orange male horse.

By the time they got to Ivarstead it was 7:24 pm, so Savos and Donjar went into the Vilemyr Inn. Savos woke early the next morning as it was pouring down with rain.

“Come on, it is about 6:00 and the rain will mean a fast ride to Windhelm” Savos said, shoving Donjar.

“Fine, I’ll come, my back is sore” Donjar said getting out of bed,

“We’ll see Barbena, come on now” Savos replied throwing some furry clothes at Donjar.

Savos put on some fine clothes and a rain protecting hat and they both se off onto Fire, off to Windhelm.

Savos was amazed at Windhelm’s sheer size.

“The Palace of Kings, I was born here” Donjar said, pointing at the high rising building coming up behind the wall.

“Do your parents have a house here?” Savos asked,

“Yes, Atheron House, it’s quite good, small but space well used” Donjar said,

“Okay, well let’s go there then” Savos replied, opening the doors into Windhelm. Windhelm was very flooded and Savos and Donjar had to wade through water up to their ankles to get around. By the time their got to the Atheron House the water was up to their knees and lightning had killed three guards.

“Donjar!!” a strange voice said as the opened the wooden doors into the inset stone house.

“Veresia! Mother!” Donjar replied running in,

“Close the door, Quick, I don’t want anything in here flooding” Veresia said,

“Where is dad?” Donjar said,

“He, is, he’s not here he is” Veresia said, looking at the ground, tears welling in her eyes,

“Is dad?” Donjar said, pausing,

“Dead, yes, I didn’t have enough money to send you a courier, I’m so sorry” Veresia said, bending down and sobbing, Donjar walked off,

“Savos, your room is down the corridor to the left,” Donjar said, walking away.

Savos was left alone, water banging up against the door behind him. How did the door hold. For how long will it?
