It seemed as if time slowed down when I saw him topple off the stool

I had no control of my body whatsoever, my instincts made me move to catch him

And now he was in my arms, staring up at me with disbelief

It took me a lot of willpower to not lean down and kiss him right then and there

This moment.....I want to cherish it forever

I didn't know how long I was in my thoughts when I heard his voice calling my name

"Jungkook-ah, you can let me down now"

His voice dragged me out of my mind and I blinked as I felt my eyes burning....as if I was staring at him for a very long time

I let him down carefully and was about to go back to whatever I was doing when I felt his hand grab my wrist lightly

My movements halt but my heart began to beat faster

I turned back to see him looking on the ground and he mumbled something I couldn't hear

"Hyung, what are you saying?" I asked

I saw him visibly tensed up but I pretended that I didn't notice

"I said thank you" I heard him say ever so quietly but it was enough for me to hear

For some reason, that made my whole face burn up and I was so glad he was looking down

'It was just a simple thank you yet this happens?!' A giddy feeling was building up inside of me and I couldn't stop it

"Ah problem hyu-hyung I mean no problem hyung"I stuttered  'Why is this happening to me?!'

He finally looked up and his eyes were scanning my burned up face, worry appearing in them

"Are you okay Jungkook-ah? You look sick" he said, worry laced in his voice as well

'I look like a burnt tomato because of you' I thought but I replied

"I'm fine, it's just getting a bit hot in here so I'm just gonna go and take a quick shower"

That was probably the lamest excuse I have ever made but that gave me the opportunity to bolt out of the kitchen and go into our shared bedroom

"Why did I say that, I sounded so stupid" I said, pacing in the middle of the room, regretting saying that really stupid and lame excuse to just get away and feel really giddy about getting a thank you from Jimin

"I should just take a shower, like I said, to cool off" I said, doubting myself just a bit as I go into our bathroom
