Chapter 5: Bunny

Jackie walked in the room.

"Mrs. Kennedy your husband has suffered severe gun shot wounds. "A doctor said. Jackie mouthed the words "I know. "

"But, he may be able to live. "

"May be able? So you mean to tell me its almost as if he has a 50% chance to live and the other 50 is him dead? "

"Well, yes. " Jackie nodded and walked over to Clint. Jackie gave him a hug.

"What did you do that for Mrs. Kennedy?  I failed you, and your husband. "

"No Clint he might be able to live. Clint you could never fail us you are wonderful at your job."Clint smiled. He felt his eyes starting to tear up.

Jackie walked back over to Jack.

"Stay in there Bunny. " Jackie started to cry more and more. Clint backed Jackie away from Jack and let the doctors do their work.

"Mrs. Kennedy your husband is a trooper. He is alive but he suffered alot of blood loss and will need to recover for awhile. " a secret service agent told her.

Jackie smiled and walked to Jack and stroked his face.

"You did hang in there Bunny. "Jackie smiled again at the thought of the life they could still achieve together.
