The creators of Turn say that the unknown female spy Agent 355 is Abigail, André's maid.
I don't believe this, because Agent 355 is ultimately captured at the end of the war. When this happens, it ultimately destroys Townsend emotionally, which means they knew each other and Townsend felt a great deal for her. It just doesn't seem plausible that he was in love with a slave girl given the time period.
This update is completely my own opinion compiled after reading various stances historians take on 355, take it as you wish.
Although, there is literally no concrete proof pointing to who 355 was.
